Therapy
NMKD provides a wide range of therapeutic services to help address the complex nature of addiction. Our therapy programs include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other evidence-based approaches that help patients understand and change thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their addiction. Patients can identify triggers, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and set a foundation for resilience against relapse by working with our skilled therapists. All therapy sessions take place in a very supportive and non-judgmental environment, thereby enabling patients to freely discuss challenges and progress.
Group therapy is another integral part of therapeutic services at NMKD. Patients will be able to share their experiences and learn from the experiences of others in such sessions. Group therapy provides mutual support and accountability, thus it helps people maintain long-term sobriety. Our programs in therapy—whether individual or group sessions—are oriented toward providing patients with all the tools and support needed to overcome addiction and live out their lives to their fullest potential.
